Testimonials
I attended Cheri’s Travel Spot Catalina Getaway and it was a fantastic time! With over 100 people in attendance, it was so refreshing to meet other social, adventurous people who were always ready for the next fun “adventure/activity”! Not only was the social element wonderful, but there’s something on Catalina for everyone–kayaking, snorkeling, hiking, relaxing on the beach, and more! If you’re thinking about trying a Cheri’s Travel Spot trip, do it!

A Cheri’s trip means I know I will be taken care of with the upmost care while also being given many opportunities to have adventure, develop friendship, and apply excessive amounts of self care
Catalina Getaway July 2021 Mike Bacera
Cheri and Tom plan and execute fantastic trips with great attention to creating the most fun possible. The people who attend are all up for an adventure and we enjoy getting to know one another. I’ll be back for sure!

There’s a lot of work that goes into planning a trip, especially for a large group of people. Cheri makes it seem effortless and when a trip runs smoothly, it’s indicative of excellent behind the scenes planning and hard work. It’s relaxing to just show up and enjoy the experience and focus on connection.

I was hesitant to do this in the beginning, but couldn’t have been happier to do it. This was such a great time in every way. The people, destinations, food, and experience all exceeded expectations.

Lots of cliques made it hard for the outsiders. Someway of better on board communication of who was doing what where to feel included rather than just wandering around the ship hoping to run into another group. Not nit picking at all, again you guys did GREAT these are just some minor tweaks I seen.
Brett Stephenson
The trip was great! I loved how friendly everyone was! Definitely was an awesome experience and felt so rejuvenated afterwards thanks to everyone.

It was awesome especially if you have a good friend or two with you to go banter along with in case the others in the group are welcoming or not. It is what you make of it. Put yourself out there and try to make some friends. 🙂 It is really fun to run into people around the boat that are there, whether you hang with them or not. Traveling is always worth it!
Anela Noriega

Catalina Island is a great getaway from the everyday bustle of Los Angeles. It’s filled with both ocean and land adventures or just a quiet place to relax on the sand.

Love the smaller groups. Making new friends. To get away. Sharing time. Experiencing fun adventures together. Thats what makes Cheri’s travel groups worth going. Its nice to branch out and see the world with fellow like minded travelers.

Without trying to sound dramatic, Cheri’s trips have changed my life! Before I was introduced to Cheri, I was always trying to find a friend to travel with, and put together something fun but cost effective. Most of the time, things wouldn’t pan out and I would end up not traveling. Once I found Cheri, it opened a whole new world of options for traveling and being social. I am not one for single’s activities, but these are different. Sharing experiences all over the world creates a bond with people I probably would never have even met. I meet so many friends that are now always a part of my life. Cheri is so awesome as a person, and as a travel agent. She creates fun, organized, well priced experiences. I can not recommend Cheri enough, as a person, but also as an amazing trip planner. If you’re on the fence about attending one of her trips, just do it! You will not regret it.
