Itinerary
Day 1, January 19, 2027: Buenos Aires
Your adventure begins in Buenos Aires, a dynamic city where European elegance meets Latin American passion. Home to the proud porteños—the “people of the port”. Buenos Aires is rich in culture, cuisine, and energy. Enjoy an overnight stay and explore the city’s lively streets, savor authentic Argentine steak at local parrillas, or experience tango in its birthplace.
Day 2, January 20, 2025: Ushuaia, Argentina

Setting Off from the Bottom of the World
This morning, fly to Ushuaia, the capital of Argentina’s Tierra del Fuego Province and often called the world’s southernmost city. Nestled beneath the dramatic Martial Glacier, Ushuaia is the gateway to Antarctica. Here, you’ll board your hybrid electric-powered expedition ship. After a welcome briefing from the Expedition Team, settle into your cabin and explore the ship’s comfortable amenities as your journey south begins.
Day 3-4, January 21-22, 2027: Drake Passage Navigation

Crossing One of the World’s Most Legendary Seas
As you sail across the Drake Passage, the Expedition Team prepares you for your Antarctic experience. Visit the onboard Science Center, attend engaging talks on Antarctic history, wildlife, science, and conservation, and learn how to explore responsibly and participate in Citizen Science projects. In your free time, relax in the spa, enjoy fine dining, or connect with fellow travelers in the Explorer Lounge & Bar.
Day 5-9, January 23-28, 2027: The Arctic Peninsula
Experience Antarctica in All Its Natural Majesty
Nothing compares to your first glimpse of Antarctica. Towering glaciers, cathedral-sized icebergs, and an awe-inspiring silence define this frozen wilderness broken only by the sounds of wildlife. Traveling in January, you’ll witness penguin chicks hatching and thriving colonies full of activity, while whales are increasingly present as they feed in krill-rich waters.
Nature leads the way as your Captain adapts the daily itinerary based on weather and ice conditions to maximize exploration. Join the Expedition Team on Zodiac landings, ice cruising, and possibly even kayaking among icebergs. Back onboard, expert-led lectures deepen your understanding of this remarkable continent, creating a truly unforgettable five-day Antarctic experience.
Day 10-11, January 29-30, 2027: Drake Passage Navigation

Reflect & Relax
After five extraordinary days in Antarctica, begin your journey north across the Drake Passage. This is time to reflect on your adventure, revisit photos and videos, and share stories with fellow explorers. Unwind in the sauna, enjoy a spa treatment, or simply relax as you savor memories of the seventh continent.
Day 12, January 30, 2027: Ushuaia, Argentina

Journey’s End… or a New Beginning
Your expedition cruise concludes in Ushuaia, where you’ll fly back to Buenos Aires. While this marks the end of your Antarctic adventure.
