Star Flyer is a true clipper ship reflecting its proud heritage in every inch of its polished brass and gleaming brightwork. Step aboard this unique vessel and discover a new age of sailing, where the traditions of the past are happily married to the comforts and amenities of the present day. The Star Flyer is a modern cruise ship in every way, created for luxury loving passengers who also love the traditions and romance of the legendary era of sailing ships. The Star Flyer is 115 meters long and carries just 166 guests in pampered comfort. Life aboard is blissfully relaxed, much like travelling on a private yacht. The ship offers spacious accommodation and expansive teak decks with ample space and two swimming pools. You’ll find that this ship offers more outdoor space per passenger than most conventional cruise ships. The decor of the Star Flyer is reminiscent of the grand age of sail. Antique prints and paintings of famous sailing ships please your eye, while teak and gleaming mahogany rails are richly remindful of Star Clippers’ proud nautical heritage. Staterooms and Pricing

Pricing:

  • Prices are per person and include gratuities, taxes, government, port and activity fees
  • Every guests receives $100 on board credit (this can be used towards excursions or transfers)
  • Gratuities are included in the group rate 
  • Rates may change based on availability at the time of booking
  • You will be booked at the best available rate, including any online promotions, past guest, or other applicable rates.
  • Book before Nov 1, 2026 for the best rates.
  • $450 per person non refundable deposit is due at the time of booking 
  • Final payment is due by Nov 7, 2026.
  • Reservations made on or after Nov 7, 2026, full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Full payments become non-refundable after Nov 7, 2026.
  • If your cabin has roommates, at least one original name must remain on the reservation at all times. A refund, minus the deposit, will only be provided if your spot is successfully filled.
  • If you are requesting to be matched with a roommate your reservation will not be finalized until you/we have a roommate for you.

Know before you go

Airport:

  • Recommended: Fly in/out of Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM)
  • Book the Pre-cruise Hotel and Transfers with Cheri’s Travel Spot for added convenience. (Pre-trip Hotel/Transfer details coming soon.)

Arrival Date and Time:

    • Flights need to arrive before 4pm on Saturday February 13, 2027

Departure Date and Time:

    • Flights need to depart after 12pm on Saturday February 20, 2027

Additional Consideration:

    • It’s recommended to Arrive the day before to account for any potential flight delays or cancellations. However, this will involve an extra hotel stay and cost.

Not Included in Cruise Cost:

  • Transportation to/from the ship to the airport.

Cruise Itinerary

Day 1:  Saturday, February 13, 2027 – Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Departs at 9:00pm (Must be on board by 7:00pm)

Get ready to set sail!  We’re sailing out of Philipsburg, St. Maarten. Boarding is from 4pm-7pm.

Arriving early… You can drop your bag off at the ship and explore the area or grab a bite to eat near by.

We will have our Welcome meeting before sailaway. Exact time and location will be sent out before the cruise.  

Day 2:  Sunday, February 14, 2027 – Charlestown, Nevis

Nevis is the kind of place you wish they wouldn’t write about because you want to keep it all for yourself. The island is dotted with old sugar plantations, some of them now turned into charming Inns with interesting histories.
Dominated by the perilously steep cliffs of Mt. Scenery, this smalll Dutch island didnt even have a road around it until 1951; but the diving is out of this world!
Passengers are required to be back onboard 1 hour prior to scheduled sailing time. If all passengers return early the Captain will frequently pull anchor and sail ahead of schedule. The Star Flyer relies heavily on it’s sails so actual departure and travel times are influenced by local wind, tides and sea conditions. 

Day 3:  Monday, February 15, 2027 – Cabrits, Dominica

It’s a RACE! Star Flyer vs Royal Clipper. The two ships meet south of Iles des Saintes and sail side by side.
Today we are in Dominica, a dream like island full of suprises. Glide through a steamy orchis festooned rainforest in a facinating boat ride or hike to the breath taking Trafalgar falls and beautiful bubbling lake. No matter what you do, your day in Dominica wont disapoint. 

Day 4:  Tuesday, February 16, 2027 – Terra-De-Haut, Iles des Saints

Les Saintes is a thoroughly entrancing group of islands lying off Guadeloupe. You’ll enjoy the superb beaches, snorkeling, diving and other watersports on offer. 

 

Day 5:  Wednesday, February 17, 2027 – Deshaies, Guadeloupe

Guadeloupe looks like a butterfly from the air. Its giant wings are actually two islands, separated by the Rivière Salée, a natural salt water channel. Basse Terre, the southern or leeward part of Guadeloupe, is lush and rugged, dominated by La Soufrière. A stream of boiling water gushes from the top of the 4,800-ft. mountain, reminding you that this volcano is not dormant, but very much alive.

Day 6:  Thursday, February 18, 2027 – Falmouth Harbour, Antigua

The dockyards, marinas, old inns, venerable pubs and convivial crowds of sun-tanned yacht crews- this is the epicentre of the Caribbean yachting world. Today, every faded pink brick and weather-worn bollard of Nelson’s Dockyard evokes the presence of the greatest naval commander in history.

Day 7:  Friday, February 19, 2027 – Gustavia, St. Barts

In its elegant little capital of Gustavia, French joie de vivre is tempered by Swedish spic and span neatness. Diversions include duty-free shopping in exquisite boutiques, beautiful beaches, excellent dining and people-watching.

Day 8:  Saturday, February 20, 2027 – Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Today we say goodbye. Enjoy one last leisurely breakfast onboard before saying goodbye to new friends. As you disembark, reflect on the wonderful memories created and start looking forward to future adventures. Safe travels and until we meet again.
