Get To Know Star Clipper “Star Flyer”

Star Flyer is a true clipper ship reflecting its proud heritage in every inch of its polished brass and gleaming brightwork. Step aboard this unique vessel and discover a new age of sailing, where the traditions of the past are happily married to the comforts and amenities of the present day.
The Star Flyer is a modern cruise ship in every way, created for luxury-loving passengers who also love the traditions and romance of the legendary era of sailing ships. The Star Flyer is 115 meters long and carries just 166 guests in pampered comfort. Life aboard is blissfully relaxed, much like travelling on a private yacht. 
The ship offers spacious accommodation and expansive teak decks with ample space and two swimming pools. You’ll find that this ship offers more outdoor space per passenger than most conventional cruise ships.
The decor of the Star Flyer is reminiscent of the grand age of sail. Antique prints and paintings of famous sailing ships please your eye, while teak and gleaming mahogany rails are richly remindful of Star Clippers’ proud nautical heritage.

Staterooms and Pricing

Pricing:

  • Prices are per person and include all taxes, government, port and activity fees.
  • Rates may change based on availability at the time of booking.
  • You will be booked at the best available rate, including any online promotions, past guest, or other applicable rates.
  • Book before Oct 1, 2026 for the best rates.
  • A deposit is required at the time of booking:
  • $300 per person for double, triple, or quad occupancy
  • $550 per person for single occupancy
  • Final payment is due by Oct 1, 2026.
  • For reservations made on or after Oct 1, 2026, full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Deposits are non-refundable upon booking.
  • Full payments become non-refundable after Oct 1, 2026.
  • If your cabin has roommates, at least one original name must remain on the reservation at all times. A refund, minus the deposit, will only be provided if your spot is successfully filled.
  • If you are requesting to be matched with a roommate your reservation will not be finalized until you/we have a roommate for you. 

Gratuities:

  • $102.00 per person (can be pre-paid or charged to your card at the end of the cruise)

Balcony Stateroom

The Balcony Cabin offers guests a luxurious experience with private balconies for stunning ocean views. These cabins beautiful oceanviews from a private balcony for relaxation and romance, they provide a serene retreat for an unforgettable cruise.

Know before you go

Airport:

  • Recommended: Fly in/out of Miami International Airport (MIA)  (15-20 minutes away)
  • Alternative: Fly in/out of Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL)  (35-45 minues away)

Arrival Date and Time:

    • Flights need to arrive before 11am on Sunday Jan 17, 2027

Departure Date and Time:

    • Flights need to depart after 1pm on Saturday Jan 23, 2027

Additional Consideration:

    • It’s recommended to Arrive the day before to account for any potential flight delays or cancellations. However, this will involve an extra hotel stay and cost.

Not Included in Cruise Cost:

  • Transportation to/from the ship to the airport.

Cruise Itinerary

Day 1:  Sunday, January 17, 2027 – Miami,  Florida

Departs at 3:30pm (Must be on board by 2:30 pm)

Get ready to set sail!  We’re sailing out of Miami, Florida. Boarding times are between 11am and 2:30pm.  When you do your online check in you’ll pick the time that works for you.  

Arriving early… You can drop your bag off at the ship and explore the area or grab a bite to eat near by.

We will have our Welcome meeting tonight about 6pm.  Exact time and location will be sent out before the cruise.  

Day 2:  Monday, January 18, 2027 – Celebration Key

Departs at 3:30pm (Must be on board by 2:30 pm)

Today we’ll have the chance to explore Carnivals newest private island Celebration Key! A new destination nestled on the south side of Grand Bahama island designed exclusively for Carnival guests. It’s perfect for everybody who appreciates fun and natural beauty, unique island-style fun, relaxation and adventure spread across 65 acres and five “portals” for you to explore!

Day 3:  Tuesday, January 19, 2027 – Day At Sea

There’s so much to do to on this ship! Plus we’ll have fun meet ups and activites for the group. Here are a few examples of things you’ll find aboard. 
  • Sports Square: Basketball/Volleyball/Soccer Court.
  • Mini Golf: 9 hole course on the top deck with Ocean Views. 
  • Waterpark: Feel the rush of adrenaline with multiple waterslides.
  • The Ropes Course: Challenge your stills on the ropes course 150ft above the ocean.
  • Sunset Views: Don’t miss the breathtaking sunset each night from the deck, a perfect backdrop for memorable moments and stunning photos.

Day 4:  Wednesday, January 20, 2027 – Montego Bay, Jamaica

From 9:00 AM- 5:00 PM

Today we are at Montego Bay, Jamaica; one of the most popular tourist destinations in Jamaica, known for its beautiful white-sand beaches, clear turquoise water, and lively Caribbean culture. Located on Jamaica’s northwest coast, it’s famous for resorts, snorkeling, reggae music, and historic sites like Rose Hall Great House. Visitors often come to relax on beaches such as Doctor’s Cave Beach, explore local markets, enjoy Jamaican food like jerk chicken, and experience the island’s laid-back atmosphere.

Day 5:  Thursday, January 21, 2027 – Grand Cayman

From 8:00 AM- 4:00 PM

Grand Cayman is the largest island in the Cayman Islands and is famous for its crystal-clear water, coral reefs, and world-class beaches. The island is known for snorkeling and diving spots like Stingray City where visitors can stand in shallow water and interact with friendly stingrays. Travelers also enjoy relaxing at Seven Mile Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean, along with exploring the island’s marine life, shops, and laid-back tropical atmosphere.

Day 6:  Friday, January 22, 2027 – Day At Sea

Today we say goodbye. Enjoy one last leisurely breakfast onboard before saying goodbye to new friends. As you disembark, reflect on the wonderful memories created and start looking forward to future adventures. Safe travels and until we meet again!   

You can disembark between 8am and 10:30am. If flying out make sure your flight departs after 1 pm.
